Organize and administer individualized age‑specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports the philosophy, objectives and mission and vision of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies.

Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in Unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.

• Must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Successful completion of all orientation programs is required by Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Two years recent/current level III NICU experience

• Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• NRP certification preferred

• Full‑Time
• 37.5 hrs weekly
• 12.5 hr shifts
• Nights
• Biweekly weekends required
