Qualifications- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Completion of all orientation requirements of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center
- Successful completion of all orientation programs
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently matriculating
- At least 2+ years of experience in perinatal nursing in an acute care setting
- Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Part‑Time
- Night shift
- 12.5 hr. shifts
- 25 hrs. weekly
Organize and administer individualized age‑specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports the philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies.
Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in Unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.
