Registered Nurse; RN), Pediatrics Unit

Registered Nurse (RN), Pediatrics Unit – Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. Full‑Time Day shift, 12.5 hour shifts, 37.5 hrs weekly. Pay range $47.85 – $60.60 per hour.

Provide individualized, age‑specific nursing care to pediatric patients in a 597‑bed facility that treats over 32,000 inpatients and 82,000 ED patients annually. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, participate in patient teaching, discharge planning, and unit performance improvement.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Completion of all orientation requirements of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center
• Success in all orientation programs

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
• 1–2 years experience in pediatric nursing in an acute care setting

• Current Registered Nurse License in New Jersey
• Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
• PALS within first year
• I.V. certification within 90 days of hire or completion of required training

• Full‑time, Day, 12.5‑hour shifts, 37.5 hrs per week

• Organize and administer individualized age‑specific professional care to patients within the unit.
• Adhere to State Nurse Practice Act, ANA Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics, Department of Health regulations, TJC requirements, and other regulatory agencies.
• Participate in patient teaching, discharge planning, and unit performance improvement activities.
