Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

• Perform history and physicals, comprehensive assessments and manage the care of critically ill cardiac patients in the CCU
• Develop a plan of care in collaboration with the CCU multidisciplinary team (i.e,e, intensivist, attending cardiologist, medical resident, cardiology fellow, and CCU Nurses) to develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans
• Manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions such as acute coronary syndrome, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, cardiogenic shock, post‑operative cardiac surgery recovery and mechanical circulatory support devices (e,g, IABP, Impella, ECMO etc.)
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, medications, and perform advanced procedures within scope of practice and institutional protocols
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly
• Participate in daily CCU rounds and assist with rapid response and code situations
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and other team members, providing education and support throughout the care continuum
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of clinical encounters, progress notes, orders, and care plans in the electronic medical record (EMR) as well as entry of procedural and time‑based evaluation/management codes
• Contribute to unit‑based quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as appropriate
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and all regulatory requirements

• Master's or doctorate degree in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Studies from an accredited program
• Active license and board certification in the state of New Jersey NP (ACNP or FNP) or PA-C
• Active DEA and CDS registration
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Experience in a critical care or cardiac ICU setting, new graduates are welcome to apply
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, high acuity environment
