Job OverviewThe Quality Coordinator is responsible for supporting hospital-wide quality improvement, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives. This role collaborates with nursing leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to monitor clinical outcomes, analyze quality data, ensure adherence to evidence-based standards, and promote continuous improvement in patient care delivery.
The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills who is experienced in healthcare quality metrics, accreditation standards, and performance improvement methodologies.
Pay Range$ - $ per year
Pay TransparencyThe above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Qualifications- Registered Nurse (RN) License in New Jersey, or an approved Compact License is required.
- An Associate's Degree in Nursing is required; a BSN is preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years of acute care nursing experience.
- A history of quality improvement, quality management, or standards experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills necessary:
Word, PowerPoint and Excel. - CPHQ Certification is preferred.
- Experience with Viso and Vizient a plus.
- Skill in Team Facilitation, RCA, and FMEA preferred.

- Monday-Friday Position
- Coordinate, implement and participate in the evaluation of the ongoing, functionally integrated, and systematic hospital-wide performance improvement activities.
- Coordinate subcommittees of the Performance Improvement Committee.
- Serve as a learning coach for participants.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate resolution of issue(s).
- Assist the Director in implementing hospital-wide programs to ensure compliance with the standards of regulatory and accrediting agencies.
