$67.79 - $77.52 per hour (New Jersey)

Medical-Surgical Unit-IV

Organize and administer individualized age‑specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports the philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing, Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies.

Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in Unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
• At least 2 years Med/Surg RN experience in an acute care setting
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently matriculating

• Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association upon hire

• Per Diem
• 2 – 12.5 hour shifts per month, both shifts on weekend
• 1 – 12.5 hour Summer Holiday (July 4th, Easter, Labor Day)
• 1 – 12.5 hour Winter Holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s)
