Status:
Part‑Time (12.5‑hour shifts, 25 hours per week)

Pay range: $47.85 – $60.60 per hour

Provide individualized, age‑specific nursing care to patients within the Perinatal unit. Support the department’s mission in accordance with state and professional standards, participate in patient teaching, discharge planning, and unit performance improvement.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Completion of all orientation requirements of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center
• Successful completion of all orientation programs
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently matriculating (preferred)
• At least 2+ years of experience in perinatal nursing in an acute care setting (preferred)

• Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

• Part‑Time
• Night shift
• 12.5‑hour shifts
• 25 hours per week

• Organize and administer individualized age‑specific professional care to patients within assigned unit, supporting medical care.
• Practice in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies.
• Participate in patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Participate in Unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.
