Field/Service Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Job Description
This position is responsible for providing installation, calibration, maintenance, repair, validation, and support services for IVF customers across North America under guidance. Performs field-based equipment service and installation activities following established procedures. Builds technical competency across supported products and utilizes D365 CRM for service documentation.
Responsibilities- Obtain certifications to install and service assigned IVF equipment
- Perform equipment installations following standard procedures
- Perform routine service, maintenance, calibration, and validation tasks
- Provide basic technical support to customers and sales teams
- Assist in troubleshooting and repair activities
- Maintain accurate paperwork and device history records in D365
- Support workshops and trade shows (setup and teardown)
- Manage travel logistics and expense reporting
- Participate in training and team meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Up to 90-100%
Work Environment- Lifting of 50 lbs is common
- Contact with household cleaners
- Basic understanding of medical device service
- Foundational knowledge of microscopy and lab environments
- Ability to follow procedures and work under guidance
- Basic troubleshooting skills (electrical and mechanical)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with MS Office; CRM exposure preferred
- Passing of background check, which may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction history, educational and driving records
- Experience in Medical Equipment Field Service or Service and Repair preferred.
- CRM business system operation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Biomedical Equipment education a plus

The good faith estimate of the salary range for this role is $59,756 to $79,675. The actual amount offered is determined by a number of factors including but not limited to location, skills and experience.
