Join the full‑stack W&B History team to build the core visualization engine that powers experiment tracking for thousands of organizations and labs working with LLMs, agents, robotics, drug discovery, and more.
- Design and develop highly performant, interactive, and intuitive visualization tools that help machine‑learning practitioners view complex training metrics in real time.
- Front‑End Engineer focusing on data visualization; architect and optimize line‑plot performance within the W&B UI.
- Scale charting components to handle millions of data points while maintaining smooth interactivity.
- Implement new features enabling researchers at top labs to explore data and build better models.
- Collaborate with product designers to refine user experiences and with back‑end engineers to optimize data streaming for charts.
- Extensive experience with modern JavaScript/Type Script and React.
- Knowledge of web‑based visualization libraries.
- Ability to measure and optimize front‑end performance for large datasets, maintaining 60 fps interactions.
- Curiosity to dig into technical systems and continuously improve them.
- Collaborative mindset; willing to share knowledge and debug with teammates.
- Background in machine‑learning workflows or strong interest in the AI/ML ecosystem.
- Experience with Canvas/WebGL or visualization libraries such as React‑vis or uPlot.
The base salary range for this role is $182,000 to $242,000. Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and market location. In addition to base salary, we offer a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program.
