Senior Transportation Driver, Full Time with CDL

The Township of Livingston is seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Driver who holds a valid CDL to work full time and will be responsible for providing senior and disabled residents with safe and reliable transportation.

• Knowledge and ability to operate a modern bus within safety and regulatory protocols and under varying road, traffic, and weather conditions.
• Ensure that the vehicles used for the transportation system are maintained and in good working order.
• Provide first‑class customer service.
• Physically assist senior citizen passengers in and out of the bus as needed.

This is a full‑time position, 35 hours/week with the following benefits:

Education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school with a minimum of six months of experience driving a bus, van, or similar vehicle and transporting passengers.

The candidate must possess a valid state CDL license with passenger endorsement and a good driving record.

Salary will be commensurate with experience within the range of $42,000-$52,000 per year.
