Job Summary Mc Adams  Propane, a Meritum Energy Holdings Company in Livingston, TX, is looking for a pro-active and driven Customer Service Representative to join the team! The Customer Service Representative will interact with customers by proactively addressing inquiries and resolving concerns. A successful Customer Service Representative is committed to Service, Efficiency and Safety.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services and serves as a liaison between customers and the company

Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services

Forwards customer questions and concerns to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff

Field customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff

Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns

Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments

Performs other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum 2 years of customer service experience

Experience in high-volume phone call settings highly preferred

Experience in the propane industry preferred

Skills/Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

Service-oriented, with the ability to resolve customer grievances

Proficient with computers and able to learn software as needed

Proficient in the current Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn additional software tools

Physical Requirements:

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by the incumbent to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, using a phone, and working on a computer

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed to safely assist with duties around the plant and at the bottle dock station

Must pass a pre-employment screening and background check
