Salary Range: $43,920 - $45,355 annually (based on qualifications and experience)
Burke is seeking a dedicated Early Intervention Specialist (EIS) to provide case management and developmental services for infants and toddlers (birth to three years old) enrolled in the Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program.
This position is based in Livingston, TX and serves families in Polk and San Jacinto Counties. Services are delivered in the child's natural environment, primarily through home visits. Candidates must be comfortable traveling throughout the day and working directly with families in their homes.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide case management services to enrolled families
Conduct developmental evaluations and screenings
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide parent education and coaching during home visits
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community professionals
Maintain timely and accurate documentation to meet billing and compliance requirements
Manage schedules and meet strict service delivery timelines
Minimum Qualifications Education (Required)Bachelor's degree that includes a minimum of 18 semester hours relevant to early childhood intervention
Must include at least 3 semester hours in early childhood development or early childhood special education
Substitution Option:
Forty (40) clock hours of continuing education in early childhood development or early childhood special education completed within five years prior to employment may substitute for the three-hour semester requirement.

Preferred QualificationsSix (6) months of experience working with children birth to three years old
Experience working with young children with developmental delays or disabilities
Strong typing skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word
Effective time management and organizational skills to meet strict deadlines
LicensesValid Texas Driver's License
Special Requests/CommentsCPR, First Aid, and Defensive Driving training modules must be completed
Driving record must be insurable by the Center's insurance administrator
Ability to travel daily throughout Polk and San Jacinto Counties
Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to walk, drive, and perform frequent home visits
Manual dexterity for documentation and assessments
Adequate vision, hearing, and communication abilities
