Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physical Therapist to serve as Clinic Director for our dynamic outpatient orthopedic and rehabilitation team in Livingston, TX. This role combines direct patient care with clinic leadership responsibilities. The Clinic Director will oversee daily operations, ensure clinical excellence, support staff development, and maintain strong collaboration with our orthopedic physicians and management team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes and clinic performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Care: Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to identify impairments, functional limitations, and establish treatment goals.
  • Leadership & Operations: Oversee daily clinic operations, scheduling, productivity, and patient flow to ensure efficiency and exceptional patient experience.
  • Lead, mentor, and support clinic staff, including therapists, assistants, and support personnel, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including patient outcomes, satisfaction, and financial performance; identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical documentation, billing, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with management and physician leadership teams to implement organizational goals, quality initiatives, and growth strategies.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of clinical staff.
  • Promote continuing education, professional growth, and adherence to best practices within the clinic.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on orthopedic rehabilitation, including post‑operative joint replacement, sports injuries, trauma/fractures, pediatric orthopedic conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and functional training to restore mobility, strength, and function while reducing pain.
  • Collaborate with physicians, PAs, and therapy colleagues to ensure continuity of care and effective communication of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
  • Active Texas Physical Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Minimum of 3 years of outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting strongly preferred.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, manual therapy, and exercise prescription skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage clinic operations and drive quality outcomes.
  • Commitment to patient‑centric care, teamwork, and continual professional development.
