Laborer, Manufacturing ​/ Production, Material Handler

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Laborer. In this capacity, you will play a vital role in our daily shop and field activities by providing essential support to skilled tradespeople, ensuring our workspace remains orderly and secure, and executing various manual tasks. Your primary focus will involve facility maintenance, organizing equipment, managing materials, and helping with tank prep, painting, and blasting tasks.

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused professional who is capable of handling the physical requirements of an industrial setting.

• Ensure the workspace remains tidy and hazard-free by performing routine cleaning tasks.
• Document and track shop environmental data, such as humidity and temperature levels, on a daily basis.
• Act as a designated hole watch monitor as necessary to help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team.
• Support painting and blasting crews by prepping tanks and taping off flanges.
• Perform sanding on piping and rubber-lined or painted tank surfaces according to instructions.
• Supply necessary materials and tools to assist skilled trades staff in their daily tasks.
• Help organize equipment and manage the loading or unloading of supplies and tanks to improve operational efficiency.
• Transfer tools, job-related materials, and equipment to and from transport vehicles.
• Prepare manway covers and flange faces for transport by cutting protective materials.
• Execute site setup tasks in both field locations and the shop.
• Utilize power and hand tools with a focus on safe and efficient operation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and management.
• Adhere strictly to all established safety protocols and organizational guidelines.
• Complete other tasks as requested by leadership.

• Possession of a GED or high school diploma.
• At least one year of professional experience within a manufacturing facility, industrial shop, or chemical plant.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of various power and hand tools.
• Physical capability to manage demanding tasks, such as standing for long durations, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy items.
• Capacity to perform duties within confined spaces.
• Valid TWIC card is mandatory.
• Dedication to maintaining a secure and safe workplace for all employees.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

• Background in industrial fabrication, tank maintenance, painting, or blasting support.
• Experience in preparing shipments, handling materials, and staging equipment.
• Strong professional drive with the ability to function effectively both independently and within a collaborative team.
