This position offers a flexible daily schedule and will be fully in‑person in Livonia, MI.
Position Responsibilities- Maintain an accurate system of accounting record keeping in Quick Books for Santeiu Vaults and related entities
- Establish comprehensive controls and documenting processes for accounting and credit cards
- Manage cash flow through daily deposits and ACH payments and reconcile the company’s bank and credit card accounts
- Responsible for collecting, reviewing, and interpreting financial data to produce accurate and timely financial reports
- Process payroll including tax and liability payments and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax filings and employment verifications
- Maintain positive working relationships with all outside professional services, including vendors, CPA firm, financial institutions, etc.
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Responsible for effectively handling all insurance‑related audits
- HR administration for all new and current employees
- Responsible for the reconciliation of the company’s cash and deposit accounts
The ideal candidate for this role has Quick Books expertise, an incredible attention to detail and is comfortable working in the death services industry. Part‑time arrangements will be considered.
