Job SummaryThe Admissions and Welcome Center Coordinator serves as a key member of the Admissions Leadership Team, working in close collaboration with the Director of Admissions and Assistant Director to support the successful operation of the Admissions and Welcome Center. This position provides operational oversight of front-of-house services, supports the delivery of exceptional customer service, and helps ensure a welcoming and student-centered experience for prospective and current students.
Working closely with the entire Admissions and Welcome Center team, along with other campus-wide departments, the coordinator helps ensure efficient operations, effective project management, continuous process improvement, and the achievement of departmental enrollment and student engagement goals. Schoolcraft is a comprehensive, open-door, community-based college. - Bachelor’s degree.
- Two (2) years of customer service related experience.
- Experience coordinating or managing operations in an office environment.
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment and an attitude of service among staff.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

M-F 8am-5pm / additional hours may be required
SalaryPay range is $22.86-$35.71 per hour
Job Duties- Provides operational leadership for Welcome Center and front-of-house operations, ensuring efficient workflows, consistent service standards, and a welcoming experience for prospective and current students.
- Supervises Welcome Center staff and student employees, including hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and day-to-day coordination of work assignments.
- Develops, maintains, and regularly updates departmental procedures, training materials, and operational documentation to ensure continuity, consistency, and compliance with established practices.
- Assists in the planning, promotion, logistics, and execution of admissions-related events, campus tours, and other recruitment and engagement activities.
- Manages departmental operational calendars, project timelines, and key milestones; monitors progress and coordinates activities to support successful completion of departmental initiatives and strategic priorities.
- Supports the Director of Admissions and Assistant Director with the implementation of new programs, projects, operational improvements, and other departmental initiatives.
- Supports the Director with project management to include preparing reports, correspondence, presentations, and scheduling meetings.
- Oversees administrative and operational functions of the office, including management of recruitment materials, event resources, maintaining annual budget, and designated technology systems. The coordinator will serve as a CRM expert and will provide documentation and training as new functions evolve.
