Hospice receptionist intake department

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and families seeking hospice services, providing compassionate and professional support to ensure a smooth intake process. • Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries regarding hospice services.
• Coordinate and schedule patient intake appointments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support patient admissions and communication.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families throughout the intake process.
• Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing correspondence related to intake.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
• Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or healthcare support role preferred.
  
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
