Position Summary

Clerical Temporary job at Wayne State University. Livonia, MI.

• Provide frontline customer service (in-person, phone and email) through daily interactions with students, faculty, staff and guests.
• Answer phones and respond to other inquiries including walk-ins and emails.
• Assist students, the public and guests with inquiries related to academic programs, advising and student services offered at the satellite center.
• Provide general computer related troubleshooting assisting faculty with classroom set-up and other issues (e.g. media equipment, classroom requests, and technology).
• Perform other clerical duties including generating reports, inventory of supplies, processing and updating documents.
• Assist professional staff with processing enrollment data and creating reports.
• Open and close the satellite facility and maintain a secure environment.
• Adjust work schedule at times depending on the needs of the facility.

• High school graduate or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Dependable and willing to perform other work duties as assigned.

Schoolcraft Center, 39201 Seven Mile Road, Livonia, MI 48152.

Evening hours:
Monday - Thursday, 4:30pm-8:30pm.

Temporary Employee, Fractional Time, Staff/Administrative.

Hourly Wage: $16.00 per hour.
