Desired Skills and

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in remarketing, sales, or a related field within the material handling industry
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Reliable vehicle required
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
  • Physical/Sensory Functions:
    Regularly will use hands, sit, talk/hear, taste/smell;
    Frequently will stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl;
    Occasionally will climb or balance.
  • Lift and/or Move Functions:
    Regularly will lift up to 25 pounds;
    Occasionally will lift up to 50 pounds
  • Work Environment:
    Occasionally will work near moving mechanical parts
The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:
  • Develop and execute remarketing strategies for used material handling equipment
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new marketing opportunities
  • Collaborate with sales, service and inventory management teams to optimize equipment readiness for resale.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, dealers, and industry partners
  • Prepare and present reports on remarketing performance and market insights.
  • Manage pricing strategies and ensure competitive positioning in the market
  • Oversee inventory management and logistics related to remarketing activities
  • Schedule weekly visits to assigned locations
  • Lead, coach, support, and motivate sales team to meet annual Remarketing sales goals
  • Delivering an exceptional customer buying experience
  • Handle escalations and support sales staff in customer negotiations
  • Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time
  • Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities
  • Performs other duties as assigned
