Title: Superintendent/PM
Location: Field Office TBD
Division: Enerfab Power & Industrial
Direct Report: Regional Manager
Pay Range: $55.00 - 70.00 / Hourly
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and success criteria.
- Resource Management
- Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Coordinate subcontractor activities and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Budget and Cost Control
- Create and manage project budgets, monitor, and control project costs.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities and manage change orders as necessary.
- Scheduling and Timeline Management
- Develop and maintain project schedules using industry‑standard scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed.
- Safety and Compliance
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.
- Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes and permits.
- Quality Control
- Maintain high‑quality standards by inspecting work in progress and completed projects.
- Address and resolve any construction‑related issues, defects, or discrepancies.
- Ensure that construction work meets or exceeds quality expectations.
- Materials and Equipment
- Coordinate the procurement and delivery of construction materials and equipment.
- Manage inventory and ensure the availability of necessary resources.
- Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of construction equipment.
- Budget and Cost Management
- Monitor project budgets and control expenses to meet financial objectives.
- Review and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices.
- Report on cost performance and recommend cost‑saving measures.
- Client Relations
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders on‑site.
- Provide regular project updates and address client inquiries and concerns.
- Foster positive client relationships and enhance the company’s reputation.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
- Generate and submit project‑related reports to project management.
- Ensure all project documentation is complete and well organized.
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in industrial construction or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety protocols, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in construction management software and project scheduling tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic construction environment.
