We are a fast-growing eCommerce company based in Livonia, MI serving both businesses and end users nationwide. Our team operates in a collaborative, small-business environment where every team member plays an important role. With fewer than 60 employees company-wide and under 15 team members in our office, we value accountability, communication, and a strong team culture.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our in-office team. This is a hands-on role supporting customers through email tickets, live chat, and phone calls. The ideal candidate is organized, solution-oriented, and comfortable handling a high volume of customer interactions in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to customer inquiries via eCommerce ticketing system (Zendesk)
- Assist customers through live chat in real time
- Answer inbound phone calls and provide professional support
- Provide tracking numbers and shipment updates
- Send invoices and order confirmations
- Take customer orders over the phone
- Check product availability and inventory status
- Resolve shipping issues such as lost, delayed, or damaged packages
Communicate with internal departments (warehouse, purchasing, etc.) to resolve customer concerns - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions
- Previous customer service experience preferred (eCommerce experience a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable handling phone conversations in a professional manner
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer proficiency (email, order systems, web-based platforms)
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
