Shift/Days

We are seeking applicants available for 2–3 weekday mornings during preschool classroom hours in September–October and April–May to conduct in-person child assessments. Some afternoon and/or evening availability will also be needed to complete required post-assessment paperwork.

• Experience working with preschool children
• Available to work week-day morning hours
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to follow specific, standardized protocols
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn new technology

• Familiarity with Michigan’s state-funded Prekindergarten program, Great Start Readiness Program ( GSRP ), and Michigan’s early childhood landscape
• Prior experience conducting child assessments in early childhood classrooms

Responsibilities include completing a mandatory training to be held in late August (date TBD ), contacting teachers to arrange – mutually-agreed upon times to assess study children in their classrooms, driving to sites in the county of Washtenaw, and additional tasks as assigned. Must pass a background check prior to hiring/starting.
