3rd Grade Elementary Teaching

• Maintaining regular communication and positive relationships with students, parents & families, and colleagues;
• Providing daily Tier I instruction at the grade level;
• Identifying and providing Tier II intervention for grade-level;
• Working closely with Title I and special education staff to address the needs of students at the Tier III level and beyond;
• Working with school staff to identify and implement behavior supports for individual students;
• Documenting student data and collaborating with appropriate individuals to promote ongoing student achievement;
• Participating in content-area and other learning communities, including regular team meetings;
  Participating in meetings and problem-solving sessions to support student achievement with parent(s), COP-ESD, and other school staff.
• Participating in individual professional development and working with an assigned mentor to develop needed skills.

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate, or eligibility for certification with enrollment in an approved endorsement program.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students, families, colleagues, and community members.
• Ability to provide high-quality instruction that meets the diverse academic and behavioral needs of students.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, Title I staff, related service providers, and other support personnel.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and utilize student data to inform instruction and support student achievement.
• Commitment to participating in professional learning, team meetings, and collaborative problem-solving processes.

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certification
• Experience working within an MTSS framework
• Experience providing Tier II interventions
• Experience collaborating within professional learning communities (PLCs)
• Experience supporting student behavioral and academic interventions
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional growth and mentorship opportunities
• Experience working in a highly collaborative school environment
