We’re working with a well-established manufacturer of custom-built precision machinery that’s looking for a Project Estimator who likes the front end of projects — where ideas turn into real machines.

No cold calling. No sales quota pressure. Just solid estimating, collaboration, and interesting projects.

• Building cost estimates and proposals for engineered-to-order machinery and capital equipment

• Reviewing RFQs, prints, BOMs, and specs to understand what’s really being built

• Working closely with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing to validate pricing

• Gathering and comparing vendor quotes

• Helping shape pricing strategy and proposal details

• Supporting the handoff once a project is awarded so nothing gets lost in translation

• Experience in project estimating, manufacturing estimating, or proposal development

• Comfort reading mechanical drawings and BOMs

• Strong Excel and cost-breakdown skills

• Background in machinery, automation, manufacturing, tooling, or capital equipment

• Someone who’s detail-oriented but still easy to work with

• Project Estimator

• Applications Engineer (estimating-heavy)

• Proposal Engineer
