Location: Livonia, MI.

• Partner with designers to produce 3D designs for mechanical equipment in an accurate and timely manner under the supervision of lead engineer or supervisor.
• Participate in engineering calculations and analysis for design efforts and projects.
• Read, analyze, interpret, and create technical documents, engineering drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Assist in the quality, cost-effectiveness, and timeliness of designs.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and next steps to customers, stakeholders, and team members.
• Interface with internal and external customers and vendors to ensure satisfactory technical requirements and schedules.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure new and current customer demands and standards are met.

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Exposure to complex mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical motors and actuators).
• Familiarity with computer‑aided design (CAD) software, such as Solid Works or Siemens NX Unigraphics (UG).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical data to various audiences.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with the ability to provide robust solutions to complex problems in a timely and cost‑effective manner.

• Multiple themed entertainment industry or relevant engineering internships.
• 2+ years’ experience utilizing Solid Works in school projects or internships.
• Manufacturing experience machining, metal forming, code welding, and composites.
• Interpretation and application of ASTM F24 standards.
