Full Time – Ateq Corporation, Livonia, MI, US.

Salary: $26.00 to $29.00 hourly.

Field Customer Support Engineer will handle in‑house and on‑site repairs and calibrations of ATEQ Leak and Flow quality testing instruments within a manufacturing environment.

• Service and calibration of ATEQ products returned from manufacturing customers.
• Application design and set up for new and existing ATEQ and VIC equipment.
• Travel to customers for onsite service, calibration, and tech support, within a manufacturing environment.
• Maintain proper documentation of services.
• Answer service‑related phone calls from customers.
• Troubleshoot customer issues over phone or email.
• Perform ISO 17025 calibrations according to the procedures.
• Make follow‑up calls to customers with recently serviced instruments.
• Quote repairs/calibrations in the workshop or onsite.
• Assist in integration of ATEQ and VIC customer support departments.
• Assist in design and engineering for the sales team.

• Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Technology.
• Two years of relevant experience.
• Technical background with the ability to operate various types of service and calibration equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in direct face‑to‑face customer service on‑ and off‑site.
• Ability to follow processes with attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Sitting for prolonged periods of time.
• Customer attendance expected 50% of the time, including travel.
