Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in students’ lives as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist working close to Rochester, MI! This contract opportunity offers both full-time (35 hours/week, 7-hour days) and part-time flexibility, as long as a consistent, full-day schedule can be maintained. Your expertise will be valued as you support a diverse student population, with caseloads typically ranging from kindergarten through grade 12.

Assignments are tailored according to your strengths and preferences whenever possible, while also considering commute times.

Key

Qualifications:

• Active Michigan SLP license is required
• Previous experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations preferred
• Solid communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• A passion for empowering students of varying abilities and backgrounds

• Comfortable adapting to a K-12 caseload and flexible classroom needs

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to K-12 students on-site
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Engage regularly with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain thorough documentation and track student progress
• Participate in annual reviews, team meetings, and collaborative assessments
• Collaborate with school teams to create supportive learning environments
