Information Technology Asset Manager​/IT Asset Inventory Control Manager

Looking for someone with experience in an IT Asset Inventory Control Management/Coordination role. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, analytical ability, and strong organizational skills to track software assets, manage licenses, track/manage IT budgets, and optimize usage.

• Data & Reporting
  :
  Proficient with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and other database solutions, including Smartsheet for large dataset analysis and reporting.
• IT Asset Management (ITAM) Tools
  :
  Experience with using Service Now for managing asset inventory.
• Software Licensing Knowledge
  :
  Solid understanding of vendor license agreements, SaaS subscription models, and compliance standards across multiple disciplines (IT, HR, Finance, Legal, etc.).
• Cost Optimization & Rationalization
  :
  Experience analyzing inventory to identify redundant, unused, or underutilized applications (shadow IT) for consolidation or retirement.
• Process Optimization
  :
  Skills in improving inventory intake and tracking workflows.
• Financial Modeling
  :
  Experience with budget forecasting, variance analysis, and Cap Ex/OpEx modeling.
• Project Management
  :
  Some experience coordinating project efforts, supporting timelines, and helping manage work streams alongside team members.
• Attention to Detail
  :
  Critical for maintaining accuracy across hundreds of applications, user licenses, and hardware assets.
• Communication & Collaboration
  :
  Essential for interacting with IT leads, business owners, and corporate partners.
• Problem-Solving
  :
  Fundamental to identify inefficiencies and develop practical solutions
• Time Management & Organization
  :
  Necessary for handling multiple tasks simultaneously

• Prefer an EST-based resource as this person is going to need to interact with many of the technical and business leaders who are largely in the US.
• If we need to support overseas hours, please identify someone who can work until at least 1:00 PM EST.

• Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)
• Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM)
• Certified Implementation Specialist – Data Foundations (CMDB and CSDM) (CIS-DF)
