Greystar’s D²AI (Data, Digital, and AI) team is looking for an early-career Associate Analytics Engineer to help turn data into products that drive better business decisions.
As part of a forward-deployed Decision Intelligence pod, you’ll work directly alongside a critical area of Greystar’s business—learning its goals, workflows, and challenges and using data, analytics, and AI to help solve real problems. You’ll contribute to products ranging from dashboards and predictive models to lightweight web applications, while building your technical skills alongside experienced engineers.
JOB DESCRIPTION What You’ll Do- Use SQL, Python, Databricks, and AI-enabled tools to analyze data and build data products.
- Work directly with business partners to understand problems and turn them into practical solutions.
- Build and maintain reliable data models, dashboards, analyses, and other analytics products.
- Use AI tools and automation as part of your day-to-day development workflow.
- Validate data quality and help ensure the products you build are accurate, reliable, and well documented.
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical partners.
- Take on increasing ownership as your technical skills and understanding of the business grow.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience; internships, co-ops, academic projects, and personal projects count.
- Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Python.
- Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Hands‑on experience using AI tools in your work, coursework, or personal projects.
- Curious, resourceful, and comfortable learning new technologies and unfamiliar business problems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
The salary range for this position is $75,000–85,000K USD Annually
Additional CompensationMany factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.
