This is a full-time role located in Livonia, MI, for an Associate Attorney. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for assisting in all stages of defending medical malpractice claims, including legal research, writing, case investigations, drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, engaging in discovery, trial preparations, and advocacy in court. The role requires collaboration with trial and appellate teams to ensure the highest quality legal representation for clients.

• Proficiency in legal practice, with a focus on Law and Labor and Employment Law
• Strong skills in providing Legal Advice to clients while maintaining excellent client communication
• Expertise in Research and a commitment to thorough case preparation
• Demonstrated ability in Negotiation to achieve the best outcomes for clients
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in Michigan
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Sound organizational and analytical abilities
• Prior experience in medical malpractice defense or healthcare legal matters is highly desirable
