Purchasing Specialist (Entry-Level) Start Part-Time While Finishing School | Transition to Full-Time Upon Graduation

Schedule: Hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday in office, Monday & Friday remote)

Are you a senior majoring in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field and looking to launch your career with a growing manufacturing organization?

We're seeking an Entry-Level Purchasing Specialist to join our team.

This role offers a unique opportunity for a student graduating in December 2026 to begin working part-time during the school year and transition into a full-time position after graduation

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement, supplier management, purchasing operations, and SAP while supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As a Purchasing Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring our operations have the materials, services, and supplies needed to succeed.

Responsibilities include:

• Purchasing materials, supplies, services, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operating) items
• Creating and managing purchase orders
• Monitoring supplier performance, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines
• Working with vendors and internal stakeholders from request through delivery
• Tracking orders and resolving discrepancies
• Processing and reconciling invoices
• Supporting vendor setup and maintenance
• Managing warranty claims and returned products
• Reconciling purchasing card transactions
• Utilizing SAP and procurement systems to support purchasing decisions

This role provides exposure to both procurement and finance-related processes, making it a great fit for candidates interested in supply chain, purchasing, accounting, or business operations.

• Previous purchasing, buying, or procurement experience
• SAP experience
• Experience processing invoices or working with financial transactions
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience

Candidates with purchasing experience are strongly encouraged to apply, but we are also interested in students with strong finance, accounting, or business backgrounds who are eager to learn procurement.
