Job Title On Call - Custodial (Applicant Pool)

Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the Campus buildings and grounds.

• With or without accommodation, the employee in this position needs to be able to constantly stand and move about the campus. The employee frequently ascends/descends a ladder, climbs, stoops, crouches, and kneels to perform the functions of this position. The employee frequently handles up to 50 lbs.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical exam as arranged by Schoolcraft College.
• It is necessary to be able to see details at close range.
• The employee in this position frequently gives and receives simple information or instructions orally and in writing.
• The employee must occasionally discern smells.
• The minimum mathematical skills necessary for this position include the ability to add and subtract. The employee occasionally measures distance and volume.
• The minimum reasoning skills necessary for this position include the ability to deal with routine situations and solve common problems.
• The minimum language skills for this position include the ability to read and interpret work orders, task lists, and cleaning guidelines.
• This position works indoors and outdoors routinely.

Salary $19.75/hour
