CNC Mill Machinist

Location: Livonia, MI Shift: 2nd Pay: $23–$35/hr Sign-On Bonus: $1,500 after 90 days Shift Premium: 20%

We're seeking a CNC Mill Machinist to join our team in Livonia, MI
. In this role, you’ll work with a certified manufacturer specializing in precision gears and aerospace components, supporting prototype and production programs for the aerospace, automotive, and defense industries.

• Setup & Operation: Set up and operate CNC mills to machine precision parts to print specifications.
• Blueprint & GD&T Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and GD&T to ensure accuracy.
• Programming & Tooling: Program offsets, perform tool changes, and verify setups for efficient production. In addition, you will also perform in-process inspections, maintain and troubleshoot equipment, record production data, and follow safety and workspace organization standards.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

• 2+ years of CNC mill operation experience.
• Experience with 3-, 4-, or 5-axis machining preferred.
• Understanding of tooling setup and machine calibration.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to interpret GD&T and blueprints accurately.

• Precision & Accuracy:
  Ability to maintain tight tolerances and ensure consistent part quality.
• Problem-Solving:
  Skilled in troubleshooting and adjusting processes to maintain efficiency.
• Technical Competence:
  Knowledgeable in CNC programming, setup, and multi‑axis operations.
