Delta Research is an aerospace company and an AS9100 and ISO
9001 registered facility which manufactures gear products, prototypes, production, and transmission builds. In addition, we provide contract gear and CMM inspection services. We are also a NADCAP approved non‑destructive testing facility and currently provide magnetic particle inspection (MPI) and nital etch.

This Position is for 1st Shift

6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Monday – Friday

Tasks
  • CMM inspection – support the quality and manufacturing departments with first‑piece inspection, in‑process inspection and final inspection of finished parts.
  • Use manual handheld inspection tools such as micrometers, gauges and other inspection equipment while the CMM is running longer cycle times.
  • Set up next job(s) in line while the CMM is checking parts.
  • Perform layout inspections, first‑piece approvals, in‑process inspections and other aspects of inspection throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Other quality‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Understanding of GD&T.
  • Prior CMM programming experience.
  • CMM programming experience using Open DMIS (preferred) or PC‑DMIS.
  • Experience in a job shop or a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of inspection tools and best practices.
  • Positive, can‑do attitude with great attendance.
