Fuel Yard Operator - McBain Michigan

National Salvage & Service Corporation is an industry leader. National is seeking a hardworking Fuel Yard Operator for its McBain facility. Must be punctual and capable of operating various machinery and performing preventive maintenance on various fuel handling equipment.

• Operating skid steers, wood grinders, front-end loaders, and grapple truck (require climbing a ladder and operating from a seat approximately 12-15 feet above ground level).
• Perform preventive, corrective maintenance on various pieces of equipment as assigned by the Wood Yard Manager.
• Must be capable of operating in a fast-paced environment
• Must have knowledge of basic tools.
• Collaboration with team members in a structured environment
• Consistent and accurate work quality.
• Filling out daily paperwork and working independently
• Wearing personal protective equipment is required
• All candidates must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

• Able to work long hours and some Saturdays.
• Must be able to work outside in ALL weather conditions. Company does provide outdoor winter gear.
• Must be willing to cross-train in all areas and on all equipment.
• Must process basic computer knowledge.
• Regular Daily use of company email is expected.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Completely and accurately fill out daily paperwork.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
