Summary:

Beaver Aerospace & Defense is looking for an Electrical Technician to join our Assembly team in Livonia, Michigan. In this role, you'll perform electrical assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting on our products, working from detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and job specifications. You'll help keep electrical work moving accurately and on schedule so assemblies continue through production without delay — reading drawings, performing precise wiring and assembly work, troubleshooting problems independently, and flagging issues to Engineering or Quality before they become bigger problems.

Main responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical assembly, wiring, and installation work in accordance with drawings, schematics, and job specifications (approx. 40% of time)
  • Conduct electrical testing and troubleshooting on in-process and completed assemblies (approx. 20% of time)
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and job requirements to guide assembly work (approx. 15% of time)
  • Inspect and verify completed electrical work against quality and specification requirements (approx. 10% of time)
  • Perform rework, repairs, and resolve production electrical issues as they arise (approx. 10% of time)
