University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and skilled Contingent Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team in Livonia, MI. This role involves providing exceptional end-of-life care to patients and supporting their families with empathy and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospice nursing and be committed to delivering patient-centered care in a home setting.

• Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in their homes, ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor patient condition, document observations, and report changes accurately to the care team.
• Educate patients and families about hospice care, symptom management, and medications.
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Assist with pain and symptom management, including medication administration as prescribed.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies and standards.

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Previous hospice or palliative care nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a home care setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation to visit patients at their homes in Livonia, MI.

• Competitive hourly pay ranging from $60.00 to $120.00, paid semi-monthly.
