Full‑Time position scheduled 36 hours per week - 12‑hour shifts, with a weekend rotation and holiday commitment.
The Hospital:
Trinity Health Livonia is a 304‑bed acute care hospital located in Livonia, MI, providing comprehensive care including 24‑hour emergency department, general medicine, inpatient and outpatient surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, intensive care unit, cancer, cardiology, geriatrics and birthing and women's health. It has received numerous awards for excellence.
Units: 2 South is a 40‑bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in post‑operative care for a variety of surgical patients. Nurses here manage wound and drain care, pain management, and deliver comprehensive recovery support.
Summary:
The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. Responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.
Schedule:
Full‑time, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts, on a weekend rotation and holiday commitment.
Shift: Night Shift.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred;
Associate’s degree in Nursing required. BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years. Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required. Basic Life Support required. Previous medical surgical experience preferred. Must be computer proficient and have excellent customer service skills.
