Salary
You will earn: $39.40 per hour starting wages. RN starting wage $36.00 per hour plus $3.40 per hour Hero Pay.
About the PositionOur Registered Nurses are part of a skilled nursing team that provides specialized care to patients in orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology. You will assess needs and implement care using the latest technology while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors to create a positive healing environment.
- Perform a variety of treatments, including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
- Administer medications as prescribed, advising patients and families on changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
- Provide preventative and supportive care to support the physiologic and psychosocial well‑being of patients.
- Oversee the Nurse Aide team, giving direction and assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan and current CPR certification.
- Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
- High level of analytical ability to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to complex problems concerning well‑being.
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering passionate, innovative care.
- Team player dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done.
