** We currently have a contingent/part-time position available for day shift (6am-6:30pm).

** Duties to be performed shall include, but not be limited to the following:
*** Monitor admissions paperwork
* Initiate resident service plan for admissions/re-admissions
* Perform daily rounds to ensure that devices/alarms are in place and to ensure quality of care
* Monitor shower list
* Monitor weights and inform dietary of weight loss/gain concerns
* Assist with call lights
* Monitor dining room as needed
* Communicate changes in resident status
* Supervise Personal Service Attendants and oversee on-floor training
* Dispense medications
* Perform treatments as ordered by physicians
* Assists as necessary emergency calls from Woodpointe Residential Living when necessary
* Teach new procedures and techniques to staff
* Maintain a positive attitude and cooperate with other departments
* Perform other duties as assigned## Qualifications
** EDUCATION
* * Must be a Licensed Nurse graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Must hold a current and unencumbered license as a Licensed Nurse in the State of Michigan.
** SPECIAL FEATURES/REQUIREMENTS
** Licensed as a Nurse for the State of Michigan. Follows/adheres to Woodhaven policies, federal state regulations and guidelines, including Resident Rights; maintains neat well groomed appearance, adhering to Woodhaven dress code.

* QUALIFICATIONS:

*** Experience in geriatrics or long-term care settings.
* Certification in geriatrics or other specialty care.
* Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
* Previous experience working as an LPN, preferably in a retirement community, assisted living, or long-term care setting.
* ** Knowledge of Geriatrics:
