Position: Lab Technician (2nd shift, Mon-Fri 3pm-11:30pm) - $18/hr

Description

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of product tests to ensure compliance with customer and company quality requirements.
  • Gather samples and prepare them according to listed specifications for testing.
  • Conduct physical and mechanical tests on samples and enter test data results accurately into the designated systems.
  • Operate laboratory equipment necessary to support testing needs.
  • Provide feedback to production, process engineering, and quality engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as planning, production, engineering, customer service, and shipping to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of materials and product development information.
  • Take proactive measures to prevent nonconformance in product, process, and quality systems.
  • Communicate with management regarding significant risks to product quality, employee safety, or customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, following safety protocols and using required PPE.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work well both independently and with others.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English to interpret setup sheets, SOPs, and communicate effectively.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Comfortable with physical requirements, such as standing, bending, and occasional lifting.
