Nino Salvaggio is currently looking for a Backup Sign Artist for our new location coming to Livonia. This position will train in our other locations of Bloomfield, Troy, Clinton Twp and St Clair Shores.

• Create handmade store display signs in accordance direction/requests from store management with paint, acrylic, markers, etc.
• Ensure that all signage created conveys Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace quality and presentation standards, including proper grammar and punctuation.
• Walk the store, noting which signs are missing and need replacement.
• Ensure that all signage is created and posted within Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace time guidelines.
• Print marketplace specials and fresh rewards signage from computer.
• Assist with outdoor signage (i.e. the marquee) as needed.
• Ensure posted signage is properly placed (i.e. symmetrical, level, proper Velcro is used, etc.).
• Properly handle necessary materials (i.e. paints, poster board, computer, etc.)
• Ability to assist in training associates when necessary.
• Assist the front end when needed, running register, bagging groceries.
• Assisting other departments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Previous sign making or related experience, required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
