We are looking for a full-time QUOTES COORDINATOR to be a part of our inside sales support team. The Quotes Coordinator helps ensure that the company is highly responsive to the needs of our customers, sales representatives, and sales personnel, by replying to customer requests inside of our shared quotations email box via email and taking phone calls.

• Emails answered within 2 hours
• Number of Project containers created per week
• Airtable information updated daily
• Number of Out of territory quotes per week.
• Under $5K jobs quoted per week.

• Understanding the basics of how each department functions (Service, Quotes, Applications, Controls, Sales)
• Understanding the basics of lighting, electricity, and the construction industry
• Understanding how GBA operates internally (workflow, IT, internal and external software used)

• Advancing further into the quotes department is the standard path for this individual but not required.
• Personal career goals will be discussed starting at 1 full year of service.

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience
• Excellent written and oral communicator with pleasant and professional phone skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Strong listening, verbal, and written communications skills
• Strong teamwork skills
• Strong Communication Skills
• Confidence, patience, professionalism, tact and diplomacy when dealing with challenging situations

• 1-2 years’ experience in the Electrical Industry or Industrial Distribution working with distributors and contractors
• 1-2 years’ experience in a related Quotes position
• Solid knowledge of lighting
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Construction, Distribution or a related field
