Experienced Office Assistant at eCommerce Business

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team!

JB Tools is an established eCommerce business specializing in automotive tools, equipment, and related products. We sell through our website, , as well as multiple online marketplaces. Knowledge of tools is not required.

This is a full-time, in-person position located in Livonia, MI. We are a growing small business with fewer than 60 employees, offering a collaborative environment and opportunities to learn and advance.

• Enter customer orders into our systems & invoice the customer
• Process “end of day” for certain customer accounts
• Vet and set up new B2B customers in our system
• Create and manage purchase orders / replenishment for a limited number of items
• Investigate and process requested reshipments of damaged or missing packages
• Accounts receivable follow-up – emailing “past due” customers
• Work with sales to prepare and manage customer quotes for larger orders
• Create and process Bills of Lading (BOLs) for truck shipments in a portal.
• Scan & store certain documents
• Help manage ship direct orders and order issues

• Prior office experience at another company
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• General knowledge of eCommerce or retail operations
• Comfortable working on a small team
• Willingness to wear multiple hats and learn new tasks as needed
