Outside Sales Representative

Position Type: Full-Time | Outside Sales

We are seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Outside Sales Manager to support customers throughout Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong welding background and customer-facing experience who is ready to take the next step into a sales career.

You do not need to be a seasoned salesperson. We are looking for someone who understands welding, enjoys working with people, and has the personality and drive to build relationships and develop new business. If you can speak the language of welders, understand their challenges, and enjoy helping customers find solutions, we can help you develop the sales side of the role.

• Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturing, fabrication, welding, and industrial customers throughout Michigan.
• Meet with customers to understand their welding applications, challenges, and equipment needs.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for customers by combining technical welding knowledge with a solutions-focused approach.
• Conduct product demonstrations, customer visits, and technical discussions.
• Work closely with internal technical and support teams to ensure customers receive the right solutions.
• Manage and grow existing accounts while actively developing new customer relationships.
• Represent the company professionally at customer facilities, industry events, and trade shows.

• Hands-on knowledge of welding processes, equipment, or applications
  .
• Previous customer-facing experience in welding, manufacturing, fabrication, industrial equipment, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and an outgoing, energetic personality.
• Comfortable meeting new people, developing relationships, and starting conversations with prospective customers.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory and work independently.
• Desire to build a long-term career in technical sales.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout Michigan to meet with customers.
• Must be located in Michigan.
