Diesel Technician​/Vacuum Truck

We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Livonia. In this role, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment. This is a hands‑on position ideal for someone with strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. • Diagnose and repair vacuum trucks, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulic systems and other heavy diesel equipment.
• Follow all shop safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Fabricate new parts to support our inventory and equipment needs.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.

• 2+ years of diesel mechanic / vacuum truck experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and vacuum truck systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Dependable, detail‑oriented, and team‑focused.
• Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred but not required).
• ASE Certification is a plus.
