Smart Offices / Smart Homes designs, installs, and services seamlessly integrated Computer, Network, Lighting, Security, HVAC control and A/V systems for business and home customers.

Smart Offices performs on-site Audio / Video Systems installations, computer equipment repair, network configuration and software support primarily in Michigan.

Purpose of the Position

Provides on-site installation services to our customers including low voltage wiring, hardware installation, configuration and trouble shooting.

Major Functions

• Pull and terminate low voltage wiring in commercial and residential spaces per relevant codes
• Installation of audio and video equipment in commercial conference rooms and homes
• Read and understand drawings/blueprints/as-built's
• System testing and trouble shooting
• Customer service calls and system maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of job status and testing completed
• Provide feedback and change order updates during the installation process
• Promote positive relations with team members, partners, vendors, and customers.
• Work with department leaders and staff to meet or exceed short and long term objectives for the company.
• Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

All team members are involved in developing, working toward and providing important feedback regarding process and procedure improvements to meet team and company goals. Input and help are solicited daily for improving our company and everyone is responsible for contributing to this process.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements

• Experience in a commercial trade, particularly high or low voltage wiring.
• Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to support flexible schedules as the customer demands change.

Pay range is dependent on experience. Hourly range is between 19$ and 27$ per hour with profit sharing and benefits.

Overtime encouraged (Billable)

Benefits include health insurance, vacation, holidays, life insurance, 3% retirement match, and profit sharing.

Schedule:

• 8 to 10 hour shifts depending on travel
• Monday to Friday

License:

• Driver (Required)
