Ellens Equipment Inc is a family owned, agricultural, construction and landscaping equipment dealer. The company offers equipment repair services, parts, and sales of several different types of equipment from a variety of manufacturers.
Ellens Equipment is looking for a self-motivated, reliable, and hardworking member to join our sales and service team to prepare equipment for customer delivery and serviceability. Including but not limited to washing, cleaning, and preparing interior and exterior of all agricultural, commercial lawn and construction equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Details equipment according to specific instructions
• Uses various types of cleaning equipment and solutions
• Uses power washer to clean exterior of equipment for both customers and service preparation
• Uses various solutions/tools to clean and prepare windows, cab interiors, seats, mirrors etc. for delivery to customers following equipment purchase

Equipment and Tools:

• Apply and use minimal hand and power tools to properly access and prepare equipment for delivery and serviceability, including return of tools to storage areas or company owned tool boxes
• Time is spent inside and outside of vehicles
• Must be able to work with strong detergents and chemicals
• Washing exterior of equipment in heated indoor wash bay
• Must be willing to wear gloves, eye and ear protection and adhere to safety standards

Communication:

• This position reports directly to the Service Admin to acquire daily tasks
• Reports any issues in bay or service work areas to Service Admin
• This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

• Self-Motivated
• Able to work in a team environment
• Able to work extended hours when needed
• Individual must be self-motivated and work efficiently
• Must pay attention to detail

Education and Experience:

• Training at place of employment
• Certificate from a vocational or technical school
• Fork lift certified
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle status, with current driver’s license, and ability to operate agricultural and construction equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to safely mount, dismount and operate equipment
• Must be able to sustain periods of sitting, standing, and squatting
• Must be able to lift and carry 80 pounds
• Maintain well-groomed and neat appearance
