Adams MultiBody Dynamics Application Software Developer (Recent Grad 2026

We are seeking a motivated engineer to join the development team for the industry-leading Adams Multi Body Dynamics application. Cadence is looking for additional software developers to implement multi-body dynamics business logic and improved modeling methodologies as a part of systems modeling architectural modernization and transformation initiative.

• Implement Adams Application back-end business logic and persistence
• Implement Adams UI extensions
• Implement new modeling objects and templates for Adams
• Modernize the Adams application back-end to take advantage of modern hardware
• Improve software quality through ever-expanding coverage of functionality within automated test suites
• Implement build and test pipeline logic
• Collaborate with rest of Adams product development teams in an Agile Development process.
• Collaborate with other groups within Cadence for cross-product synergies and common technology
• Contribute to debugging, usability improvements, and technical documentation for delivered features.

• Python Scripting
• Multi-layered software architecture with framework, plug-ins, and public API
• VSCode + Co Pilot
• Strong familiarity with Agentic AI, leveraging AI for productivity gains
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• C++ Coding Experience
• QT Coding experience
• Familiarity with MVVM, MVC coding patterns
• Vtune software
• JIRA
• CAD/CAE familiarity
• Coding for GPU

• Recent 2026 grad with Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 0-2 Years Experience
