The CDL Class A OTR Truck Driver No Touch Freight role involves solo driving with a focus on long-haul and regional routes, operating various vehicle configurations such as standard tractor-trailers, reefers, containers, and dry vans. The position requires frequent overnight stays and extended periods on the road, ensuring safe and efficient freight transport with minimal freight handling.
Responsibilities
- Transport freight safely on long-haul, regional, and intermodal routes
- Conduct vehicle inspections and perform routine equipment maintenance
- Plan and follow efficient driving routes
- Comply with all safety regulations and hours of service requirements
- Maintain accurate log documentation and handle accident reporting
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and other stakeholders
- Secure loads to prevent shifting during transit
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years driving experience
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Valid Medical Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in commercial vehicle operation and long-haul driving
- Proficient in vehicle inspection, route planning, and safety compliance
- Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge in intermodal transport is a plus
